Senior Financier Joins Centrus
Centrus today announces the appointment of Robert St John as a Managing Director, following his recent departure from the Royal Bank of Scotland where as Managing Director he was responsible for managing the bank’s overall relationship across a portfolio of significant UK corporate clients.
Prior to joining Natwest in 1990 Mr St John spent eleven years at Schroders, the UK merchant bank, including two years in New York. He joined Natwest as Director of Natwest Capital Markets and in 1994 was appointed Head of the UK Investment Banking team of Natwest Markets before returning in 1998 to the bank’s Capital Markets Division as an Executive Director of Greenwich Natwest. Following the acquisition of Natwest by RBS, he was appointed Managing Director and Head of Bond Origination in the UK from 2001-2010. During his career at Schroders, Natwest and RBS he has advised an extensive range of UK, US, European and Japanese organisations on their financing requirements across the spectrum of international debt and equity related capital markets.
