SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- At least five years’ experience in either banking or corporate finance.
- Experience in building and retaining strong client relationships.
- Experience in building and/or reviewing debt capacity or project finance financial models.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with finance documentation, reviewing transaction documentation and preparation of Information Memorandum.
- Strong commercial and market awareness.
- Ambitious and self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a cohesive entrepreneurial team.
- Strong commitment to professionalism and client service excellence.
- Ability to manage workload and projects on time with appropriate resources and to identify and resolve problems.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE
- A background in both banking and corporate finance advisory.
- Capital markets experience/knowledge.
- Sector experience in Energy, Housing or Infrastructure
- Experience working with derivatives, developing hedging strategy and conducting swap benchmarking analysis.
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, ACT or similar
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver advice on aspects of treasury and derivatives, financial strategy, and capital raisings.
- Manage project workstreams for client projects from start to delivery.
- Effectively communicate and build relationships at executive level.
- Analyse and review corporate documents and financial information.
- Complete excel based financial analysis including building, review and analysis of financial models.
- Preparing marketing documents, proposals for services/tenders.
- Develop the business through building new client relationships.
- Research business, sector, industry and economic conditions.
- Managing and coaching more junior members of the team.
- Regular direct engagement with high profile clients.
- Work within a high performing team committed to excellence.
