Eamonn Egan joins Centrus in Dublin as Non-Executive Chairman
Centrus has today announced the appointment of Eamonn Egan as Independent Non-Executive Chairman of its Irish business. Eamonn Egan is Lloyd’s Ireland Country Manager and has been Managing Director of Lloyd’s Ireland Representative Limited since 2008.
Eamonn has a 38-year career in the insurance sector. This began with Coyle Hamilton Philips in 1981 working in retail, wholesale and the company insurance market. He subsequently set up Strand Underwriting, which he sold out of in 2004 ,and later working for ACE European Group (now Chubb).
Eamonn is also past president of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Director of the Irish Pony Club and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of Horse Sport Ireland.
