Centrus Communities brings barbecue and smiles to residents at Queen Mary’s Hostel
Queen Mary’s Pathway Hostel in Westminster is supported by Church Homeless Trust (CHT) and owned by Centrus client Riverside, whose work Centrus Communities is proud to support both practically and financially. The hostel has been supporting vulnerable women since 1926, and has developed into a service specialising in mental health recovery. It offers accommodation and support for homeless women aged from 25 with complex needs, including mental health issues.
Supporting the communities we work with and in is one of our core values in Centrus. We were delighted to see an excellent turn out and this event allowed the residents of Queen Mary’s to come together socially as part of their recovery process and to support their wellbeing.
Ruth Uwimana, Manager at CHT commented that
Such events that enable residents of hostels to come together, make a massive difference in their mental wellbeing. We are most grateful to Centrus for your continued involvement and support of our work, and in particular for supporting Queen Mary’s recent activities.
